Unexpected conditions required fast actions to get our Baseball team up and running this past season. Carver High School, the coaches, the students, some faithful parents, and your Alumni Association all acted fast to represent Carver in a graceful fashion when it came time for the Baseball team to hit the field. Some at home field conditions required students to play all of the baseball games away and the team needed a place to practice. CHS Alumni Association was able to negotiate a deal with a local facility where the student athletes were able to practice and improve their skills. As a result, even though the team did not have a winning season on the score board, but they were able to keep up moral, make significant improvement, and accomplish several milestones while continuing their bonding together as teammates. They successfully completed the season representing Carver High School with class. Next Year's Baseball team intends to take it up a notch.
