The Carver Alumni Association, Inc.
Carver Alumni Association, Inc., is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization of North Carolina located in Winston Salem, NC, which seeks to give financial assistance in form of a scholarship to deserving students who plan to attend a two-year or four-year community college or university. The association serves solely Carver High School graduates. The Association is funded primarily through membership and fundraising. The association works to achieve its mission through membership, networks, student programs, advocacy, and special events. Delivering assistance from these varied areas ensures that the Association will continue to impact higher education well into the future.
We are committed to serving a minimum of five deserving students annually. We strive, however, to serve many more. Eligible scholarship recipients must be readily admitted to their college or university of choice before funds will be disbursed. This scholarship is designed to financially assist students whose families are facing financial challenge. We will partner with the Carver High School Student Services office to identify the potential recipients of scholarship opportunities. The Student Services office will receive applications from the Association to distribute to eligible students who must complete an application for the scholarship.
