Dr. Thyais Maxwell, principal of Carver High School, joins Sheriff Kimbrough at the table to discuss the upcoming festivities, the disparities that cause education to differ from school to school, and her passion for ensuring every Carver student realizes his/her own power and possibility. “It’s about telling our own story, making our own brand.
